Review the following graphic. This shows the basic equipment concepts and components in a central vacuum system.

Primary Receiver

Secondary Filter

Vacuum Producer

This is the fist stage of a system that receives the air mixed with foreign material.  The vessel  is designed to separate the air from the foreign material.  These units are open tanks designed with baffles that force the majority of material to fall out of the air stream allowing some light material to pass through to the filter. The filter is placed in line after the primary tank.  This unit incorporates some type of media to capture the dirt or debris and only allow clean filtered air to pass on to the vacuum producer.  In systems of lighter usage and most general house keeping systems, this serves as both a Primary Tank and a Secondary filter.  Several styles are available.  The vacuum producer provides the necessary air and suctions for conveying the material from the pickup point to the separators.  This is the unit that forces air to flow through the system.  The unit is sized based on the air volume required to do the cleaning and the suction required to move this volume of air through the system.

Allow us to review your application.  Provide us with a layout of your facility indicating where the vacuum equipment will be located and where the area to be cleaned is and we can generate a full quotation with all the components needed for a complete system.
